Innovative Learning Options

The TMS Academy offers three different options for classes. There are two types of instructor-led classes, classroom and online. The third option is an On-Demand or eLearning environment. The On-Demand is a 24/7 option that allows you to go through the training at your own pace.

Instructor-Led Hybrid

Our classrooms provide an interruption-free space to concentrate fully on learning.
With TMS Acedmy instructor-led training hybrid, you will be taught by one of our highly qualified CompTIA instructors and can easily interact with other students.
These instructor-led hybrid courses include lectures, video tutorials, live labs and assessments.

Instructor-Led Online

Take our live, online instructor-led classes from your own location with with virtual machines to save on travel time and expense. With TMS Academy instructor-led training online, you will be taught by one of our highly qualified CompTIA instructors live via streaming video. These instructor-led online courses may include lectures, video tutorials, live labs and assessments.

On-Demand ELearning

On-Demand courses are self-study, self-paced training you take using virtual machines from your own location. "On-Demand" will be in the course title to indicate this learning format. These eLearning courses may include video tutorials, live labs and assessments. Once purchased, you'll have 24/7 access typically for multiple months to your self-study course. On-Demand course durations vary by title so this information is listed on the course outline.

Styles Of Instructor-Led Learning

At the TMS Academy we fully understand that not all students are alike and everyone has their own way of learning. We also recognize that IT training should come at different levels with different styles. One style for those with little to no experience that want to enter into the exciting world of technology. For students who need more time to absorb the material you can do so with our “learning-track.” We offer another style for those who have experience and want to go through our “fast-track.”

Learning Track

Our learning-track is taught at a slower pace which allows students to actually comprehend the course material rather than being rushed through it. For example, most training centers offer a 40 hour course for A+. Most A+ books are at least 1,000 pages. Can you reasonably expect to pass a certification test on 1,000 pages of information in just (5) 8-hour days? Most people can't rush throught the course and pass the 2 tests required for the A+ certification. If you have little to no experience we have your back! We designed our learning track with the integrated labs to help you to aquire the knowledge to pass the tests. We will start you with the fundementals and grow your knowledge step-by-step.

Fast Track

Our fast-track has been designed for those with some degree of experience and/or knowledge. This course style moves at a faster pace than the learning-track. It is designed to help get your initial certification or learn for a next-level certification. This track also has integrated labs to enhance your skills and proficiency. The fast-track is meant to help you with learning in order to move to the next test series or the next certification level. If you want to move quickly through the certification material then this is the track for you!
